These classes for adults are a playful and creative exploration of dance and movement. You’ll be guided in attuning to your body’s innate knowing and expressive capacity so you can dance freely, safely and joyfully.

In this 5-week series we will:

explore and expand pathways into movement and expressive possibilities
play with space, structure and imagination
develop awareness, spontaneity and confidence
increase attuned responsiveness to our own and other’s movement

Five consecutive Saturdays, 10 May to 7 June, 1:30pm - 3pm

All welcome
Accessible to trained and untrained movers, there’s no choreography to learn and no impossible moves to master. Just plenty of scores and exercises to help you awaken kinaesthetic awareness, discover new movement pathways, and deepen your appreciation of the creative process and diverse ways of dancing.

We dance in bare feet and spend time working on the floor. Wear comfy layers that allow freedom of movement and good skin coverage (for comfort with floor work). We work with gross and subtle sensing to open up new movement possibilities.

Bring a water bottle, an open mind and readiness to embrace the unknown.
