💃🏽 Dancing in the dark 💫
This session is no frills. Come and let loose by dancing in the dark. With no one watching we can really sink into our body, allowing it to move without judgement or fear of criticism. When we move with freedom we can shift old energy that is no longer needed, we release the feel good hormones in the brain and we feel uplifted by having fun! A great stress reliever. Self care embodied. Exercise you can feel great about!
The playlist is designed for a flow of energy shaped like a mountain. Easing into it with upbeat well known songs. Peaking with a couple of alchemical dance tracks that move energy and gently easing back down into a couple of heart connecting songs to finish and feel complete.
This session holds the intention that you drop into your body and enjoy your own space for an hour of moving as fast or as slow as you like. It is an individual experience.
Wainui Hall is pretty much all dark but there's light from passing cars. I always recommend dancing with your eyes closed anyway as then your mind can have a rest, letting the body lead.
Gift yourself the time to shake it all off. When we make time and space to do what we enjoy, this ripples out to the world around us.
