Event description

In winter 2023, Dance (Lens) Festival returns to Dancehouse.

To get you excited, Dancehouse hosts a weekend taster of Dance (Lens) including: screendance workshops for all experience-levels, with Siobhan Murphy and Cobie Orger, and a special IN FOCUS screening with David Rosetzky.

Details about the 2023 Dance (Lens) festival including how to submit your screendance work for Official Selection in the next Dance (Lens) Festival will be announced at the screening on Saturday 26 November.

Book in for individual workshops or screenings, or save 30% with the Dance (Lens) Pass which gives you access to whole the entire program on Saturday and Sunday.

10am-1pm - WORKSHOP: Dancing within frames with Siobhan Murphy

2-4pm - WORKSHOP: Camera handling and composition with Cobie Orger

4:30-5:30pm - IN FOCUS SCREENING: David Rosetzky

Sunday 27 November

10am-1pm - WORKSHOP: Sequences and Rhythms with Siobhan Murphy

2-4pm - WORKSHOP: Where Next? Strategies for after your shoot with Cobie Orger
