For children aged 6-8. Please note that due to space constraints, only 1 adult can attend per child ticket booked.
Dance Workshop (10.30-11.30am):
Workshops by the Australian Ballet Education and Outreach team give children the unique opportunity to explore the story of From the Gadhu through a dance workshop.
The workshops will involve warmups, storytelling, creative games, dance exercises and learning the tools to make a dance, before students watch the performance of From the Gadhu.
The workshops are designed to be accessible to all children regardless of learning styles or physical abilities. No previous dance experience is required.

Performance – From the Gadhu (12.15-12.45pm):
From the Gadhu is a captivating First Nations-led creation, performed by The Australian Ballet Education and Outreach team. Inspired by the profound cultural symbolism of whale migration, this 20-minute contemporary duet delves into themes of care for Country, intergenerational knowledge sharing, and the delicate balance of ecosystemic symbiosis.
