    Event description

Following on from the very successful 'Puzzle Project' in 2023, we are launching our very own Danceable class. This class for all abilities will learn varying dance genres in a safe environment where expression and creativity are encouraged and diversity and individuality are championed. Suited for all ages with a disability.

We will run this class on Friday February 15th and 22nd and the cost will be $35 for both.

    TERMS & CONDITIONS

    • Students need to bring their OWN water bottle to dance.
    • Please remember there is to be no food or drink in the dance space except water. Please also take your own food/drink waste with you as ACD has no regular rubbish removal/plus potential ant issues!
    • Hand sanitiser is available at the entrance and all students are encouraged to use this upon entry. Soap and water is available in the toilet.
    • Please do not attend dance classes if you are unwell, stay safe and rested at home. Please also advise us if you are diagnosed with Covid-19 and have been at dance.
    • All students are encouraged to not use phones whilst at dance.

    Class Cancellations

    • Please note that during these uncertain times, ACD reserves the right to substitute teachers due to unavailability at short notice and may not be able to notify students of all substitutions.
    • Due to being located in our wonderful regional area, ACD finds it hard to find qualified dance teachers to stand in when necessary and this is unfortunately when a class cancellation may be required.
    • ACD programmes guest teachers throughout the year to enable students to experience different dance styles and teaching methods and to allow ACD teachers the opportunity to participate in Professional Development. You/your student may have a different teacher from time to time.

Albany Contemporary Dance takes duty of care towards students very seriously. However, parents & students acknowledge that dance is a physical art form and there is a low risk of injury. Parents and students must also acknowledge that they have read and will abide by the Terms & Conditions.
