celebrates Ankara Pride a short film by Trendy B Designs.

Trendy B is an established Fashion designer from Western. In 10 years she has created over 10, 000 designs for her Brand Trendy B Designs and Four Fashion shows hosted by her till date. Blessing has featured in several Fashion shows and community events including, Byron Bay international festival, Australia Multicultural festival Canberra , Africulture Festival , Culture of Diversity and Fashion event amongst others. The film screening will be followed by a Q&A, Fashion show case on the runway and the bilingual dance floor will live with DJ's & performances from:

About The Film makers

Director 

Emily Bui is an emerging filmmaker that is based in Western Sydney. She’s worked
on small projects for ABC, Channel 10’s “Street Smart” and numerous community
social video projects. Only having been in the industry for about three years, she has
been passionate about film and photography since she was a child. “Ankara Pride”
will be her first breakthrough documentary as a Director.

Producer

Thuy Nguyen is a film maker with over 8 years experience working on various
productions such as ABC’s “Squinters” and SBS’ “Once Upon a time in Cabramatta”.
Her passion includes exploring Western Sydney stories and how fashion can be used
to tell multicultural stories through film. She is also the founder of Western Sydney
Fashion Festival, an event for emerging culturally diverse designers. “Ankara Pride”
will be the second fashion documentary produced Thuy Nguyen, her previous
documentary “Against The Grain” (2017) also directed by her, features three
Western Sydney fashion designers and has been showcased at festivals such as
Made In The West Film Festival, London Lift-Off Film Festival and Milan Fashion Film
Festival.
