Dancing Dhevas is celebrating 13 years on the conscious dance floor and you are invited!
Kicking off the night with Theva's almighty ecstatic dance that will focus on you, the dancing dhevas. Connection, community and heart centred dancing with love and kindness at the helm. Dancing pleasure will be our intent, inclusivity and shared humanity will be the outcome. Playing music from various genres that will get you grooving, laughing and whooping for joy!
The dance will be followed by ecstatic Kirtan with Michael O'Shaughnessy and a troupe of musicians who will take us on a magical heart opening vocal journey to the soul. During this time you will be plied with delicious hibiscus ice tea and cake (Vegan + GF catered for) made by Theva and Patricia's loving hands, consider these gifts from their hearts to yours.
A night to remember and a time of festivities so why not dress up, dress fun, dress fancy, add colour, mix it up and share the joy. The Dancing Dhevas community welcomes everyone with open arms, feel safe to explore and venture into the known territory of your self expression. Bring all of who you are, find your dance and dance it with passion. We look forward to opening the doors and warmly welcoming you to a night that marks our 13th year of conscious dance in Western Australia.

What is Kirtan Chanting?
Experience the transcendental power of devotional chanting led by skilled Kirtan artists. Let the melodic mantras and harmonious tunes transport you to a place of inner peace and spiritual bliss. Sing, clap, or simply close your eyes and soak in the divine vibrations.
Please bring a cushion for Kirtan and a mug to help with the iced tea dispensing!
6:30 to 10pm, DOORS SHUT at 7:00 no entry after then.
Bring a water bottle, turn off phones and remove shoes before entering the dance floor.
Tickets are $35
$0-100 Pay it forward
Add a donation to your ticket to aid someone in financial hardship to attend dance. Dancing Dhevas will mirror your donation so everybody gets to dance! Please note donations a non refundable.

CANCELLATION POLICY:
Request a refund or ticket transfer to another event upto 24hrs before the event, after this period we are unable to manage tickets.
Alcohol free, drug free and smoke free event.
No mobile phones, no photography, no Shazam, please respect dancers, be present to the group as they are to you.
No shoes or talking on the dance floor.
This event is an adult safe zone and not suitable for kids, (16+)
First time to DANCING DHEVAS...
Dancing Dhevas is a free form dance practice that invites you to engage in life as only you can, to move with such authenticity that it liberates the bubbles of ecstasy.
Conscious dance is a process of delving into your own individual, original dance, it is so unique to you and how you move that it can not be reproduced by anyone else. This gives us the freedom from constraints and judgements so we can explode our potential to move until it unleashes the dancer within. The room takes on a different energy as everyone drops into their dance and natural ecstasy is reached.
Come as you are or bring a friend, we share a dance floor of like minded souls who move as one and celebrate life in all its complexities in the moment.
Bring a water bottle.
We dance bare foot so we can open and ground our feet, the roots of our dance.
No talking on the dance floor, verbal chatter distracts you and others from this active meditation, if you feel you must talk take it outside of the hall.
