Dancing freedom-FIRE- Billarong
Description
As June unfolds, we are invited to journey through the living world of the elements — and this month, fire calls to us. Not the reckless blaze of destruction, but the sacred, sustaining flame that has gathered humanity together since the beginning of time. Fire that flickers in the hearth, that rises in the chest when passion stirs, that glows at the horizon as the sun makes its daily descent.
We move with fire. We let it enter our bodies through breath and motion, awakening warmth in the places that have grown cold or still. Each step, each reach, each turn becomes an act of tending — the way one tends a flame, with intention and care, with respect for its power.
And as the cooler seasons begin their quiet approach, this dance becomes more than movement. It becomes a ritual of remembrance — that we carry our own heat within us. That even as the world grows darker and the air draws fresh we are not left in the cold. We are the fire. We are the warmth.
Let this month’s journey with the element of fire be an invitation to burn brightly, to move freely, and to share your light with those around you.
