Spring Dinner!

Dandelion invites you to our Spring Dinner, in celebration of the Spring Equinox and the transition of seasons. With the generosity of Mangaroa Farms, Urban Harvest, and Lewis Road Creamery, we will be serving up a seasonal, vegetarian/vegan, family style feast, with locally foraged, sustainably sourced, rescued and redirected food!

The Spring Equinox is the seasonal marker for the beginning of spring, a shift into fruitful abundance, where everything comes into bloom. The emergence of new life we see born from nature is an invitation to practice gratitude for coming through the stillness of winter. We are grateful to have been gifted candles from our friends at National Candles.

There will be live music throughout the evening from a lineup of local DJs. Let’s celebrate the coming of a new season with the joy of shared food & dancing alongside community! This dinner is designed to foster connection, new and old, so come with your friends, whānau, or alone. There will be a seat for you at a shared table either way. 

All ages are welcome, but please give us a heads up if your tamariki will be in attendance, especially if they have any specific food requirements. Please note that this is a fully vegetarian menu, with vegan and gluten free options. Given the platter style of the dinner there will be plenty of options to choose from but feel free to reach out to us prior to buying a ticket if you would like to be sure we can cater to any further dietary needs. Unfortunately this venue is not wheelchair accessible. We look forward to seeing you there!

Dandelion is committed to a pay-what-you-can-afford model, so the ticket price can be determined by what is accessible for you. We have a suggested price that helps us to cover the costs of the event. Any surplus profit goes back into making more events like this happen. 

Please note, we are still building the details of the menu, but some dishes will mostly likely contain nuts. If you have a nut allergy, please get in touch before purchasing a ticket.
