DANGEROUS WOMEN | INTERNATIONAL WOMENS DAY | BYRON | MARCH 7
Description
DANGEROUS WOMEN
International Women's Day Edition
Stories of women who stopped shrinking and started living.
International Women's Day is a celebration of women. Their stories. Their courage. Their voices. Their power.
And this year, we're bringing Dangerous Women together for a very special gathering in Byron Bay.
For generations, women have been told who to be, how to behave, what to want, how much space to take up, and when to remain silent.
We've inherited expectations about motherhood, marriage, beauty, sexuality, ambition, ageing, sacrifice, and what it means to be a good woman.
And yet, throughout history, women have challenged those expectations. They've questioned the rules, broken traditions, spoken uncomfortable truths, and changed the world simply by refusing to remain silent.
Dangerous Women is a celebration of those women.
The women who came before us.
The women standing beside us.
And the women who will come after us.
Join us this International Women's Day for a special edition of Dangerous Women, an intimate gathering of storytelling, courageous conversations, connection, and community.
We'll be bringing together remarkable women to share the stories that have shaped their lives. Stories of courage, reinvention, motherhood, identity, love, loss, leadership, desire, resistance, and the moments that changed everything.
We'll explore what it means to be a woman today, the freedoms we've inherited, the expectations we're still unlearning, and the legacy we want to leave for the next generation.
There will be laughter. There may be tears. There will certainly be conversations worth having.
Because when women share their stories, something extraordinary happens. We begin to recognise ourselves in one another. We question what we've been taught. We discover new possibilities for our own lives.
And sometimes, hearing another woman's story gives us the courage to change our own.
This International Women's Day, let's celebrate the women who dared to be dangerous.

Who Is This For?
Dangerous Women is for anyone who believes women's stories matter.
For women who have spent years caring for others and are beginning to ask what they want for themselves.
For women who have challenged expectations, changed direction, found their voice, or are still discovering it.
For mothers, daughters, sisters, friends, leaders, creatives, rebels, and women of every generation.
For women who have lived through extraordinary change and those who are standing at the beginning of it.
For anyone who wants to celebrate the courage, complexity, wisdom, and diversity of women's lives.
You don't need to have overcome something extraordinary to belong here.
You simply need to be curious about the stories we carry and the possibilities that open when we share them.
Can Men Come Too?
Yes, absolutely.
Dangerous Women welcomes people of all genders and sexes.
While the event centres women's voices, experiences, and stories, we believe these conversations matter to everyone.
Men are warmly invited to come and listen, learn, reflect, celebrate, and be part of the conversation.
International Women's Day is an opportunity for all of us to recognise the contributions women have made, the challenges that remain, and the importance of creating a world where women can live with greater freedom, dignity, and choice.
I'm Looking for Women Who Have Become Dangerous.
For this special International Women's Day edition, I'm looking for women with stories worth sharing.
Women who have questioned the rules.
Women who have challenged the expectations placed upon them.
Women who have spoken up when it would have been easier to stay quiet.
Women who have changed careers, left relationships, built businesses, raised families, challenged systems, broken generational patterns, or found the courage to live differently.
Women who have lived through decades of change and have something to say about what it means to be a woman.
Women who have witnessed history, created change, or quietly transformed the lives of those around them.
Women who have something to say about the world they're leaving for their daughters and the generations that follow.
I'm interested in the stories we don't always get to hear.
The uncomfortable ones. The funny ones. The ones that challenge what we think we know about womanhood, power, courage, and freedom.
You don't need to be famous, successful, or have a perfectly polished story.
You need to be willing to speak from your own experience.
Because some of the most powerful stories come from ordinary women who have made extraordinary choices.
If this sounds like you, I'd love to hear from you.
