Daniel Principe - Parent Information Evening
Description
As part of Canterbury College's ongoing commitment to supporting the wellbeing and character development of our students, we are pleased to welcome leading Australian youth advocate and educator Daniel Principe for a special parent presentation.
Today's young people are growing up in a rapidly changing digital world. From social media and online influencers to relationships, identity and belonging, families are navigating challenges unlike those faced by previous generations.
Drawing on his experience working with tens of thousands of young people, parents and educators across Australia, Daniel will explore practical ways we can better understand and support our children through these important years. The evening will cover topics including healthy relationships, respectful masculinity, empathy, leadership, online culture and fostering meaningful conversations at home.
Whilst many of the themes will be particularly relevant for parents of boys, all Parents and Carers of Years 5-12 students are warmly encouraged to attend.
This presentation complements Daniel's student workshops at Canterbury earlier that day and forms part of the College's broader commitment to partnering with families to raise confident, compassionate and World Ready young people.
