A unique ticketing package for organisations (business, government, or not-for-profit/community organisation) to attend a range of events during the opening week of the Danjoo Koorliny Walking Together Social Impact Festival.

  • Early access to resources and events
Our events sell out very quickly. We will ensure that your organisation is one of the first to receive information about our events on offer (including throughout Djilba Aug-Sep). We are also compiling a growing amount of resources and a knowledge bank that you will be able to access for your organisation.
  • Elder-Leader Briefing (Tuesday August 4, 6-7:30pm, UWA Business School)
This session is about convening senior leaders from community, business and government who will be briefed on the Danjoo Koorliny Walking Together project. This is an opportunity  to be part of the leadership collective creating our pathway forward towards 2029 and beyond.
  • Workplace Engagement Session (Friday August 7, 1:30pm-3:30pm online.)
How can we align our activities and work for greater impact? This two-hour session will provide guidance and space for your team to reflect on the work you have been doing and the work you want to do over the next year(s). This session will start with a panel, there will be time for Q&A for all the questions that you are holding, and guiding questions will be provided for your organisation to reflect on. It will be a powerful way for your organisation to begin or continue its Danjoo Koorliny Walking Together journey.
  • Virtual Summit (Friday evening August 7 and all-day Saturday August 8.)
You can host the Virtual Summit event from your workplace or community centre, or let your colleagues participate from the comfort and safety of their own homes. It will be just like being there, with front row seats reserved.

With a growing national and international audience, and with some social distancing restrictions still in place in Western Australia, we wanted to ensure we have a range of interactive, curated, and hosted online options for different events, especially the flagship Danjoo Koorliny Social Impact Summit, to ensure that everyone who wants to be part of this movement can be.

The 2020 Virtual Summit will be just like being there in person with an interactive, participatory and hosted online experience. We will make use of some of the best online platforms available to give you a curated summit experience complete with a friendly greeting at the registration desk, networking chats over coffee or snacks, breakout conversations hosted by the team on-camera, exclusive virtual-only conversations and interviews with Elders, as well as front-row seats to all the in-person yarning panels and other presentations.

Danjoo Koorliny Elder-Leader Briefing.
(Tuesday August 4, 6-7:30pm, UWA Business School). An invitation-only, in-person event for senior leaders in business, government and civil society to continue the conversation from last year’s festival with Noongar Elders and leaders, including the Danjoo Koorliny project leaders Dr Noel Nannup OAM, Dr Richard Walley OAM, Professor Emeritus Colleen Hayward AM and Carol Innes. (You do not need to have attended last year to join this conversation.)

Danjoo Koorliny Workplace Engagement Session. (Friday August 7, 1:30pm-3:30pm online.) We will make it easy for you to host a hub at your workplace or community group to connect to the Danjoo Koorliny Walking Together Social Impact Project. This session will be guided by the Danjoo Koorliny leaders and team.

Virtual Danjoo Koorliny Social Impact Summit. (Friday evening August 7 and all-day Saturday August 8.) The flagship event of the Social Impact Festival will be back again this year. The 2019 summit has inspired a year-round movement for walking together towards 2029 (200 years of colonisation in Perth) and beyond. We have created an event that will blend offline and online community building, so that wherever you are you will be able to engage and connect to this event. More information here.

All social distancing measures apply for the Elder-Leader Briefing.
