We look forward to seeing you on Wednesday and Thursday for the Danjoo Koorliny Walking Together Social Impact Summit. (If you have registered on behalf of another, please ensure you send this email on to them.)

It is requested and recommended that you attend as much of the summit as possible.

SUMMIT VENUE LOCATION: Beaumonde on the Point, Boodjargabbeelup / Point Fraser, East Perth. Find Beaumonde on the Point in Google Maps.

TIME: Wed October 6, 2021. There are different options for arrival times:

Smoking Ceremony on Matagarup Heirisson Island: Arrive at summit venue by 7:45am for walk to island (~30 minute return walk)
Welcome to Country: Arrive at summit venue by 8am for Welcome to Country outside venue at 8:30am
Summit commences: Be seated in room by 9am
Registrations: Open from 7:30am.

SCHEDULE:
Day 1: Wed October 6 | As above. Day concludes around 5pm.
Day 2: Thur October 7 | Day two arrival time from 8:00am; be seated by 9am. Summit concludes around 5pm. You are invited to stay for a finale fireside performance outside venue from around 5pm; please bring warm clothes as needed.

FOOD: Morning teas, lunches and afternoon teas will be provided.

DOCUMENTING: We will be documenting this process in order to tell the story more widely, including through Aboriginal-led research. Please contact us before the event if you do not want to appear in any photography, filming or other documentation.

COVID: All relevant COVID measures will apply. If you wish to bring and wear your own mask, please do so.

GETTING THERE:

The venue is accessible by car, bus and boat. Train stations are a bit further away, as is a pedestrian link to Whadjuk/Optus Stadium. Limited City of Perth car parking (paid) is available at the venue. Other paid parking is available, including some within the free bus zone. There is a free bus #24 from St George’s Terrace direct to the venue doorstep.
