Event description

Danseys Spring Camp 2025

The Danseys Pass Holiday Park shareholders collective are pleased to invite you to join us in a weekend of play, dance, workshops, and celebration of the end of winter hibernation.

The intention of the weekend is fourfold.

First, to create a platform for community connection, for time with dear friends and loved ones - before the frenzy of summer whisks us away on exciting adventures.

Second, to share this special place with you. Over the last year since the Danseys Pass Holiday Park came into our care, we have been enjoying tending to the land and swimming in the river, and we’d love the opportunity to see you enjoy it, too.

Third, to raise funds for a riparian restoration project on the Maerewhenua River, which nourishes us and our guests.

Fourth, we’d like to have a working bee - not just as a means to a party, but because co-creating with the community has sparked some of the most meaningful connections of our lives. This will take place Oct 11/12 - if you’d like to attend, please email Jane at danseyspass@gmail.com.

Camping is included in your ticket fee - there is ample camping space by the river, and it’s delightful. For those requiring accommodation, you can book a bed in a cabin at an additional cost. If you’d like to book a bed, a cabin bedroom or an entire cabin, please fill out the accommodation booking form that will be sent to you with your booking confirmation.

SUSTENANCE!

The camp kitchen will be available for communal use. You’re welcome to bring supplies to cook for many, for your small group or whānau, for yourself - whatever suits your ease and needs.

Outside of the Pot Luck on Friday evening, there are no programmed communal meals.
