Diary of a Young Naturalist: Dara McAnulty
National Library of New Zealand, Auditorium
wellington, new zealand
Event description
Sixteen-year old Dara McAnulty’s Mother was once told  ‘Your son will never be able to complete a comprehension, never mind string a paragraph together’. Since then Diary of a Young Naturalist has won the prestigious Wainwright Prize for nature writing, has been long-listed for the Bailie Gifford Prize for Non Fiction, and has captured the hearts and minds of readers across the world. We beam in Dara from Northern Ireland to talk to Paul Stanley Ward (Capital Kiwi) about activism, autism and life as an acclaimed young writer.
