Our workshops are experiential, you will learn through deep levels of self-reflection, personal implementation planning, interactive activities, and plenty of discussion. It requires full commitment and engagement of all.

The empirically-based content has recently been strengthened with an extended curriculum for the leadership challenges faced in today’s uncertain environment. The Dare to Lead™ program showcases 3 hours of exclusive video content with Dr Brené Brown specifically created to support the curriculum and only available to participants attending the program. It will be like having Brené in the room with you during the program!

About the Dare to Lead™ Program

Based on the research of Dr. Brené Brown, Dare to Lead™ is a based courage building program designed to be facilitated by organizational development professionals.

The most significant finding from Brené’s latest research is that courage is a collection of four skill sets that are teachable, measurable, and observable. The Dare to Lead™ program focuses on developing these courage building skills through workshops, trainings, and coaching to help individuals, teams, and organizations move from armored leadership to daring leadership.

Individuals who successfully complete the full 24-hour Dare to Lead™ program will receive a certificate of completion and are allowed to put the Dare to Lead Trained badge on their LinkedIn account.

During the program you will:

Brave Leadership and Courage Cultures	Explore the core tenants of daring leadership Identify your professional call to courage as a leader. Be guided through the newly added five C’s of strategic thinking, decision making and delegation
Rumbling with Vulnerability	Lean into and stay with tough interactions that involve risk, uncertainty and emotional exposure while staying true to who we are.
Shame, Self-compassion and Empathy	Define shame and understand the concept of shame shields, including the shame shields you are most likely to use Understand what self-compassion is and gain techniques to be more understanding of yourself and others Recognise the components of empathy and identify the common empathic misses
Living into our Values	Walking our talk about what we hold most important, making sure our thoughts, intentions, words and actions align with our values.
BRAVING Trust	Understand how trust is built and its role in connection and psychological safety that holds teams and organisations together Explore what makes you angry or shuts you down and gain understanding of the connection with feelings such as shame, guilt and worry.
Learning to Rise	Learn the critical role curiosity and emotional literacy play in developing rising skills Develop the skills to get back up after a fall so that we’re willing to risk falling again. Understand how to re-write the stories and endings that no longer serve us.

Face to Face Program Delivery Schedule

Self-discovery work (approximately 4 hours) provided 2 weeks prior to the commencement of the workshop
Two-day Face to Face workshop:
- Thursday 14th July 2022 8.30am – 5.30pm
- Friday 15th July 2022 8.30am – 5.30pm
Circle-back Virtual 3 hour session

Tuesday 16th August 2022 10.00am - 1.00pm

Lead with Courage provide coaching support to participants throughout the workshop, in addition to hosting a three-hour Circle-Back live webinar to further embed new daring leadership skills, learnings and behaviours approximately three weeks after each program.

About your co-facilitators

This program is led by Kerry Rosser and Tammy Coggan, each Certified Dare to Lead™ Facilitators trained by Dr Brené Brown. Both Kerry and Tammy hold extensive experience facilitating leadership programs, coaching, working with intact teams and partnering with organisations though the complexity of change. Our role is to create a safe, inclusive and courageous space for you to journey into Daring Leadership.
