Join Darebin City Brass for our annual cabaret event, this year featuring the Carnival of the Animals by the Youth Training Band, and a special 20th Anniversary celebration of Northern Brass!

Established in 2016 as a stepping stone between Jack's Juniors music education program and the A grade Preston Band, Northern Brass quickly established itself as a strong community band which this year celebrates two decades going strong!

Bring a bite to share with friends, enjoy drinks from the bar, buy a raffle ticket or 20 and relax and enjoy the dulcet tones of our brass bands for an evening of live music!

Darebin City Brass is a community music organisation based in the northern suburb of Preston, Melbourne. With around 100 active musicians of all ages, backgrounds and musical skill levels, we boast three main ensembles organised in the style of English brass bands.

We perform regularly in our local community and further afield, contributing widely to the amateur arts scene in Victoria.

We provide low cost music education and access to brass and percussion instruments to children, young people ,and everyone who is keen to learn or hone their musical skills.
