Darebin Creek Welcome to Country and Planting Day

Join us for a Welcome to Country by Wurundjeri Woi-wurrung Elder Dave Wandin and a community planting morning on the Darebin Creek at the Arch Gibson Reserve adjacent to the Kingsbury Bowls Club. The Darebin Creek Management Committee are hosting the event to continue the ecological healing of the area. We will be planting a variety of groundcovers to provide habitat for small birds and other wildlife. It's a great opportunity to meet like-minded people who care about the environment and make a positive impact in our local community. Don't worry if you don't have any experience, our friendly team will provide all the necessary guidance and equipment. Come and learn. All you need to bring your enthusiasm and a willingness to try!
