Come along and lend a hand planting native seedlings as part of our ‘Woodland Bird Byway’ project along the Darebin Creek.

We'll be planting shrubs and sedges to boost plant diversity and strengthen the understorey to help create more shelter and nesting sites for local wildlife. We'll then have a cuppa together at the end.

It’s a great opportunity to spend time in nature, meet other like-minded people and be part of something that makes a real difference.

Everyone is welcome. Check the accessibility section for details on how to get to the site.

Please wear: sturdy, closed-toe shoes and dress for the weather (warm jacket, raincoat, sun hat etc.)
Please bring: plenty of drinking water and gloves if you have them (or use ours)
Meet: on the Darebin Creek Trail, just north of the Greenhills Rd pedestrian bridge, Bundoora. We'll be working on the west side of the creek.

This event provides a welcoming and inclusive space for anyone interested in nature, meeting new people, and taking positive action to support the environment.
