You're invited to the Dargues Gold Mine Open Day on 19 May 2024!
Families and friends from Majors Creek and Braidwood are welcome to experience the mine and enjoy a day of family fun. Bring your loved ones for a day of exploration and excitement. Step into the rich history of this iconic mine with a guided tour of an operational mine site. Fun for all with stalls, BBQ, activities, and underground mine vehicles on display.
Convenient buses will be departing every 15 minutes from Majors Creek Recreation Reserve where free parking is available. Jump on any return bus from the mine to the rec ground at your leisure.
Choose your bus time, mark your calendars and prepare to discover and make memories at the Dargues Gold Mine Open Day. Gold fever awaits!
Please do not attempt to enter the mine site in your own vehicle. Access to the mine is only available through the complimentary shuttle buses departing from Majors Creek
On return to Majors Creek village - why not enjoy the hospitality and great food at Majors Creek Pub. There will be live music at the pub from late afternoon.
