It's Friday the 13th - a date usually associated with superstition and the supernatural. Perfect for a date with Queensland's iconic ghost hunter and dark historian Jack Sim.

The Book Bouquet is excited to offer this wonderful chance to grab a copy of Jack's book, Haunted Ipswich, and hear some of the most infamous local tales about our town from Jack himself in the comfort of the bookstore, before heading off on a 2-hour walking tour of the CBD and its historic buildings.

Ipswich is an old, gothic city haunted by its past. Come “spook spotting” and learn about the creepy Cribb house, a secret hidden under the police station, woman in the attic window, and be watched by the man in the museum on a guided historic ghost tour through Ipswich’s city centre.

Please note - This event is not suitable for children under 10 years. Parents and guardians are advised that this tour features strong content in the form of true historic stories and tales delivered in a dramatic style. The stories may include gruesome and macabre material including murders, crimes, violence, deaths, executions and suicide. The stories can be frightening, scary and distressing especially for young children. Those under the age of 18 must be accompanied/supervised by a ticket-holding adult.
