Dark Matter in the Pub is a FREE entertaining science outreach event that aims to bring together scientists and the wider community to explore the fascinating and mysterious topic of dark matter. Through a series of short, interactive and engaging presentations, the event aims to draw the public’s attention towards dark matter and showcase the exciting research being carried out in this area.

As part of the event, we will also organise a pub quiz to engage participants with science, with small prizes to incentivise participation. The event will take place in the relaxed atmosphere of a pub, providing an opportunity for discussion and interaction between scientists and members of the public after the presentations. A number of interactive demonstrations will also give the audience the opportunity to engage directly with science.
