Look up and explore the wonders of the Milky Way at Lanyon Homestead — one of Canberra's best dark sky locations. Join astronomers from Mt. Stromlo Observatory for an unforgettable night of stargazing.

The experience begins with a captivating presentation about our skies, followed by guided telescope viewing of the stars, planets and the Milky Way. Ticket includes a warming hot chocolate to enjoy as you marvel at the stars.

Please note: This activity is highly weather dependant and requires relatively clear skies in order to provide an optimal viewing experience. If the weather is deemed not suitable you will be contacted via the email address supplied at booking about event postponement or cancellation. If a session is cancelled, ticket holders will be refunded in full.
