If there are three things Katie Cowan likes, they're good company, complex humanity, and multi-coloured cake sprinkles. In this show she invites you into her living room for all three.

A show that doesn't fit into any category, Dark Songs with Katie sees Katie sharing pieces of her own humanity, so that you might feel safer with your own.

Join her for an hour of eye contact and loveliness that includes songs about the dark things, chats about the light things, and cupcakes.

Katie is a lawyer turned improv musician, songwriter and author of The New Lawyer Companion: Essays on life, law and humanity. This is her first solo show, if we don't count all those cool legal seminars she used to present.

CW: This show includes references to trauma, sexual assault and suicide. If these are triggers for you, please do take care of yourself, but also know that this show is especially for you.
