Darling Downs South West Cluster Sculpture Workshop

QATA DDSW is partnering with UniSQ SOCA for a professional development workshop facilitated by Associate Professor, Beata Batorowicz, in sculpture, specifically soft sculpture textiles. Batorowicz' practice looks at animal characters and storytelling, in particular mythological and fairytale qualities. Participants will be taken through activities which you can take back into your classroom of low-stakes creative making through creative thinking activities and collaboration while making your own soft sculpture using accessible materials. This workshop would be suitable for primary specialist teachers as well as high school art teachers. Bring: Apron, Sketch book and pencils. Materials provided in the cost.
Lunch: There are cafes on site but bring your own snacks / drinks if you wish.
