10:00-10:10 - Opening plenary – given by Dr Bhushan Joshi (Advocacy and Inclusion Officer for Top End Pride, Chair of GLADD) and Alana James (Advocacy, Social impact and Communications Manager at the Y Northern Territory)
10:10-11:00 - Equity, diversity, and inclusion in our work places and sports – featuring Daniel O’Neill (Senior Strategist, Charles Darwin University) in conversation with Bethany Anstead and Addison Bartley from the Bush Chooks basketball team
11:00-12:00 - Being queer and thriving with disability – facilitated by Karan Nagrani (Disability Advocate and Darwin Pride Ambassador 2024)
12:30-14:00 - LGBTQIA+, discrimination and policy change – a conversation on preventing systematic disadvantage with Jeswynn Yogartnam (NT Anti-Discrimination Commissioner), Andi Jones (Social Justice Practitioner, NT Anti-Discrimination Commission), Jesse Noble (Non-binary Captain in the Australian Army) and Dr James Allen (Chair and Founder, The Orbona Foundation)
14:00-15:00 - Trans youth and family health – Dr Anja Ravine and Nikki Pears (LGBTQIA Family Health) discuss the recent rise in conversation therapy and misinformation around trans health
