Calling all queer young people and allies between 15-26!

The first ever Darwin Queer Youth Prom, proudly supported by Wear It Purple, is set to take place on June 13th, 2025. This special event offers LGBTQIA+ youth in Darwin a safe, inclusive, and celebratory space to express themselves, connect, and make unforgettable memories.

Wear It Purple’s support highlights its ongoing mission to foster empowering environments for rainbow young people, ensuring everyone feels valued and seen. The prom promises a night of joy, community, and pride, reflecting the vibrant diversity of Darwin’s queer youth and the broader message of acceptance and support.

Driven by young people, for young people with support from Top End Pride, Wear it Purple, and other queer-safe organisations, this night will be a chance to connect with other LGBTQIA+ young people and allies, dress to the nines, and kick of the 40th Anniversary of Top End Pride's celebrations. The best part? It's completely FREE.
