Double Header: Dashville Christmas Party + Dashville Nights

Event description

IMPORTANT UPDATE: Monday 6th December 2021.

Due to ongoing delays with Singleton council planning department, today we have made the decision to move this weekends activities to a little venue just down the road, known as The Drovers Camp.

Its a tough decision, made somewhat easier by the fact that its a great country venue, run by great people and in many ways very similar to Dashville with onsite camping, a restaurant, bar and a big outdoor stage.

The venue is run by the one and only Clarry Jones aka 'The Drover' and there is a huge amount of respect for Clarry, not only because he's a salt of the earth kind of character, but he too has had his fair share of council grief and knows how hard it is to navigate the book in order to put on a live music gig these days.

The fact Clarry is opening up his venue for us all last minute in a spot of bother, is testament to a top fella and we are comfortable that this weekend's activities, though with some small changes, will still be a rememberable occasion. The Drovers Camp is a great venue 10mins away from Dashville, which will allow for the music to be played, memories captured and fun to be had, whilst Dashville's council matters continue to tumble about in the washing machine.

The biggest issue though is the capacity of the venue is limited to 200 adults,

So it does mean that we have had to make some small changes in ticketing from this point forward.

It is no longer a free entry event on the Saturday.

You must have a camping ticket OR a portrait package in order to attend on Saturday.

As long as you have a portrait pass, you do not need to have a camping/entry ticket if you do not intend on staying past the afternoon.

Friday Nights concert is relatively unaffected, however for Friday night attendees, if you do not have a Saturday portrait package or Saturday camping ticket you will have to vacate the venue by 11am.

Due to the reduced capacity, the markets and car boot sale will probably not go ahead as intended, however we've got a pretty good line up of music on Saturday, so alongside the all-day family portraits and old fashioned hang time with Santa, its going to be a great family friendly weekend none the less.

So you know, Saturday's surprise all day entertainment includes The Lairs, The Tall Stories, Cloudbird, CJ Stranger, Angie Who, Lyle Dennis Band, Adam Young and The Down Main and no doubt a few extra bits and pieces as the evening rolls on.

So we suggest if anyone you intended on hanging out with this weekend, hasn't got a ticket, then please encourage them to grab one as we anticipate that the event will become sold out very soon.

Once again we sincerely apologise to everyone about these last minute changes, we understand its not ideal, but we thank you for your hopeful trust and support in keeping the show on the road.

The event is fully licensed, family friendly and COVID safe.

Dashville Nights - Friday evening December 10th, The Drovers Camp opens 2pm for camping. Concert commences from 7pm featuring William Crighton, Jeff Lang and Imogen Clark.

This evening is all about quality live music and return to good times with friends and family.

Please note: This is a ticketed event. All tickets include camping for the night and as always, a guaranteed good time.

Saturday is Dashville Christmas Party - Bring your mob out to the great open spaces of The Drovers Camp on Saturday 11th December 2021, for a unique version of the big 'Lower Belford silly season soiree', otherwise known as the Dashville Christmas Party, which will feature live music, kids activities, family portraits, food and beverages and fun friendly times.

Here you can also book the following;

Family Christmas Portraits:
Please pre-book your portraits AND grab a time slot (time slots are limited) - we may sell out! Due to time constraints our photographer will take a couple happy snaps and select the best one. The set looks best with 8 people max, but if you'd like a big family pic we'll smoosh you all in. Limited spaces per hour, we're booking in hour time slots - so please turn up within your hour (first in best dressed) to get your happy snap. To support COVID Safety, Santa won't be joining us this year for photos but hopefully he'll turn up for a little to say hello.

Picnic hampers:
We sold out of hampers last year before the event even started! Please get in quick to grab our specially made Christmas picnics.

With the changes in capacity, market stalls are now free. If you'd like to register interest as a market staller, please hit us up through the website contact page. cheers

Vaccines: We're not here to spruik about what is best for your family, but in order to operate we must follow requirements. Here at Dashville we hoped to open up to everyone, vaccinated or not. It has now moved to Dec 15, so we unfortunately need to abide by the restrictions and only open to those who are vaccinated in order to operate. If this effects you  please let us know and we will offer a credit to a Dashville event in the future.
