    Event description

Please note that this workshop has been postponed. A date in early 2024 will be announced soon.

We would welcome the opportunity to meet with you sooner to explore data linkage project ideas or answer any data linkage questions. Please get in touch with us at menzies.TDLU@utas.edu.au

Interested in data linkage? Wanting to answer questions about the Tasmanian population but lacking the data to do so?

The Tasmanian Data Linkage Unit are running a 2-3 hour workshop for research staff and prospective and current PhD students with an interest in data linkage.

We will be presenting information on TAS-Connect - the exciting new Tasmanian research ready dataset that aims to make data linkage more accessible to researchers and students. Come along to learn more about the data available in TAS-Connect, how to apply, costs, and the type of projects that can be undertaken.

The workshop sessions run from 9am to 11am, but we will be available until 12 noon to answer specific questions or discuss project ideas. This time will be highly valuable for PhD supervisors and students to brainstorm ideas for potential PhD projects.

Whether you are planning a study or just want to know more, please join us at the Menzies Institute for Medical Research (date TBC) for this informative workshop.
