Dave. A Wellington Youth Choir Concert

Wellington Youth Choir is presenting a choral ode to everything Dave and David for our second Wellington concert in 2023. Every piece is either about a Dave or written by a Dave, from King David (and his son) to David Hamilton and David N. Childs. The repertoire covers a wide range of music, featuring 16th century madrigals, contemporary choral compositions and everything in between. The choir is conducted by acclaimed conductor Rowan Johnston, and accompanied by Nick Kovacev.
ABOUT US
Wellington Youth Choir is a self-run, mixed choir for 17-27 year olds in the Wellington region consisting of around 50 students and young professionals. The choir provides a fantastic opportunity for experienced singers to continue singing at a high standard, and for newcomers to get involved in a choir for the first time.
COVID SAFETY
Audience members are welcome to wear masks throughout the concert if in close proximity with others. Please stay home if you are feeling unwell to keep the choir and other audience members safe.
