David Ellis | Antarctica Clothing – Keeping New Zealanders warm on the ice for 67 years

An intriguing family story and the background to iconic brand Earth Sea Sky's unique Antarctic heritage, the design of polar clothing and the importance of layering to achieve maximum performance in Antarctica’s extreme and unrelenting environment.

The Ellis family has a background of mountaineering and adventuring and has been manufacturing outdoor gear in New Zealand for over 95 years. For the past 67 years the family has been designing and making Extreme Cold Weather clothing for Antarctica New Zealand.
