Experience an unforgettable evening of artistry at The Independent Theatre as flutist David Silva joins forces with pianist Young Kwon Choi for their first performance together.

This captivating recital traces the evolution of the flute across centuries, from the elegance of Marin Marais’ Les Folies d’Espagne, to the shimmering colours of Eugène Bozza’s Image. The solo flute spotlight intensifies with the bold theatricality of Luciano Berio’s Sequenza, before giving way to the sparkling charm of Pierre Sancan’s Sonatine. The evening culminates in the lyrical and powerful Flute Sonata, Op. 94 by Sergei Prokofiev.
