What do you expect of your church pastor? What do you wish they would spend more time doing?
Across Australia, the biggest gap between what pastors think they should be doing and what they actually do is the training of congregation members for life and ministry. Why is that? And what impact does that have in your church?
This lecture investigates the issue by looking at the real life experience of pastors and local churches and comes up with some surprising answers.
The lecture will argue that theological education is not nearly ambitious enough in what it seeks to achieve.
