Please join us for the first event in our moving image series ❇️ Day 1: Everything You Can Dream of is True. Bringing together First Nations and Diaspora artists, the screening foregrounds narratives surrounding body and land.
Day 1: Everything You Can Dream of Is True

Session I (12-2pm)
In this session, the artists invite us to critically consider our relationships to place and the self, through intimate and communal visual imagery.

There will be artist talks by Gillian Kayrooz and Riana Head Toussaint at the end of this session.
Session II (4-6pm)
Centring connection to land explored through oral storytelling and autofiction, this session brings into focus questions our individual and collective responsibilities for disruption and continuity.
This session will begin with a live poetry reading by Omar Sakr.

Everything You Can Dream of Is True is a moving image series inviting a critical re-imagining of ourselves and the world around us.
Over 20 First Nations, global Indigenous and Diaspora artists come together to interrogate the status quo and propose new ways of engaging with complex histories, politicised identities and futurisms.
Sparking conversations across Dharug land (Western Sydney) and Naarm (Melbourne), this new program is curated by Utp and presented in partnership with West Space.

$10 - Single Session Pass
A session pass will give you entry to one session. Please select 12-2pm or 4-6pm session.
$15 - Day Pass
A day pass will grant entry to both sessions on the day.
$40 - Season Pass
A season pass will give you unlimited entry to Everything You Can Dream of Is True screening events, include all 6 sessions on 28 September, 26 October and 30 November.
$45/50 - SingleSession/Day Pass with Tote Bag
Get 'a season of care' tote bag, valued at $40 with your order for a discounted tickets. You will be given your tote bag when arriving at the event. These will be available to purchase on the day as well.
A limited number of community tickets are available. If prices of tickets are prohibitive for you, please feel welcome to get in touch via admin@utp.org.au with your name and contact number for a free or discounted ticket.
