Day & Night - A Narrative Photography Discourse for Writers

DAY & NIGHT is a literary and visual arts event created by artist-photographer Luminita Lenuta and poet Mihaela Cristescu.

Presented at Government House, Parramatta, this intimate gathering brings photography and writing into conversation, inviting participants to explore how images can spark memory, imagination, reflection and creative connection.

Invited writers will present original poems, essays and short stories inspired by photographs created by Luminita Lenuta.

Each writer will introduce their response before sharing their work, offering audiences insight into the many ways a single image can be interpreted and transformed through language.

The photographs will be printed, framed and displayed in the venue, allowing audiences to experience the visual works alongside the writing they have inspired.
