Day Five

Thanks to Pitch and Golden Plains we have two huge international acts for Day 5, CCL from Germany and Maara from Canada.

While many DJs approach genre and scope adventurously, few are as expansive and unique as CCL. With an incisively
technical and uncannily creative approach to mixing, and a ravenous appetite for music of all kinds, they unite the
unimaginable. As a DIY festival organizer and record collector, drawing from their experiences in Bristol, the DIY scene of
Seattle and the American Midwest, CCL has a unique affinity for fluidity and liminality, weaving music together through dis
narratives that open wormholes between all genres and tempos. From their critically acclaimed radio show liquidtime to their
subglow residency at Berlin institution Ohm, to best clubs and festivals worldwide, they showcase their unique take on sonic
storytelling with a highly adaptable sense of dancefloor intuition

Maara

Hailing from Montreal, Maara has made her mark on the dance music scene since her 2021 breakout EP ‘Ultimate Reward’ on NAFF recordings. Maara continued to build a name for herself, having released her subsequent EP on Sonido Isla ‘Potion Activated’, which featured ‘The Forbidden Plum’, nominated for Best Song of 2021 by Resident Advisor. In 2023 she released her incredible, dynamic debut LP ‘The Ancient Truth’ on Step Ball Chain. Maara’s other releases can be found on Radiant Love, X-Kalay and Kalahari Oyster Cult.
