Day for Jack- A Celebration of Dogs in the Life of Men
Date: June 27th | 8:30 AM Location: Alexandra Park, West Quay Street
Jack, a loyal Jack Russell, was more than a pet—he was a steady presence in a family’s life for 19 years, offering quiet support through life’s toughest moments. Though he passed in 2025, his impact lives on through Day for Jack—a community event celebrating the powerful role dogs play in mental health, connection, and wellbeing. The day will bring people together to honour the bond between humans and dogs, promote men’s wellbeing, and host an adoption event with Red Collar Rescue.
Enjoy a canine fashion parade with prizes, Meet Foxy, Shiba Menu Instagram dog, raffles, draws and stalls. In a time when many men struggle in silence, dogs provide routine, reduce stress, and offer unconditional companionship—often becoming the first step toward healing and reconnection.
