    Event description

58 women have allegedly been killed in domestic violence incidents cross the country.  It has become a national crisis and community action is needed.

Rotary in Australia, New Zealand and the Pacific Islands are uniting to build awareness of, and to help our community identify, reduce and stop physical Domestic and Family Violence and non-physical Coercive Control offending.

Now it is Canberra's turn!   We would like YOU to participate in a peaceful and non-confrontational march on Friday, 1 December 2023 to Say NO to Domestic Violence and YES to Positive and Respectful Relationships.

We will start and finish in Glebe Park.  The walk is less than 2 km along Bunda St. and City Walk. But we expect to be joined by members of ACT Policing, YWCA, Zonta, Everyman and that  TV and Media cameras will be there to  support the campaign.

Today, we ask for Canberrans, Not-for-Profit organisations; Government sgencies; charities; businesses ... all to unite to walk with us to build awareness and to Say NO to Domestic Violence
