This isn’t your average costume party. While “costume” often means pretending, here we invite you to come dressed as your shadow archetype—the hidden parts of yourself ready to be embodied in their full expression. From Trickster to Sorceress, Rebel to Hermit, Femme Fatale to Don Juan—or whatever hidden face longs to be revealed.

Through playful embodiment, connection, and dance, we uncover the hidden gifts within our shadows—humor, freedom, creative expression, and healing. In reverence to the Day of the Dead, we gather for an intimate daytime Niños Santos medicine ceremony, rooted in ancient traditions and guided with the expertise of our shaman team. With care, protection, and deep experience, our guides help us navigate this sacred journey safely and intentionally.

This ceremony invites us to seek the guidance of our ancestors and reconnect with our divine essence. Held within the Day of the Dead portal, it also opens the way to release on behalf of our lineage while keeping and honoring the gifts they bestow.

Through ritual, prayer, and sacrament, participants are supported in healing, self-discovery, and remembrance of truth—often experiencing emotional breakthroughs, the release of old patterns, expanded creativity, unity with nature, and profound connection with spirit.

Elana Stern, our Tantra Guide, holds this space with intuitive insight, devotion, and fierce compassion. She invites you into radical self-love, deep remembrance, and embodied transformation through the sacred technologies of Tantra and presence.

Paqo Tom, our Shamanic Healer, is a mesa-carrying practitioner trained in the Q’ero lineage and grounded in the wisdom of ancient ritual and master plant medicine. With trauma-informed care and intuitive guidance, he offers a compassionate container where deep healing unfolds and the soul is gently restored to its natural lightness.

Supporting this work are our trained support angels—mesa-carrying shamans initiated in the Q’ero lineage, with deep relationships to master plants. Bringing decades of experience, including as a certified traditional naturopath and art therapist, they ensure attentive care and a safe, nurturing field for all participants.

Day of the Dead Weekend Portal:
Elana Stern is a devoted guide in Tantra Yoga, walking the path of love and supporting individuals, couples, and groups in cultivating sacred connection, embodied presence, and lasting transformation. She was drawn to meditation as a teenager, studied Eastern Philosophy and Religion academically, trained with celebrity fitness icons in NYC, and earned Yoga Teacher certifications in both Vinyasa Yoga (Cindy Lee lineage) and Restorative Yoga. Her foundation is further enriched by training in Tibetan Buddhist, Transcendental, Vipassana, Mindfulness, and Sonic Meditation modalities, as well as Pranayama breathwork and Reiki techniques. Her journey expanded through advanced certification with Yoga Chitta—a Black-owned yoga school serving the BIPOC community-where she mentors yoga teacher trainees. After a life-altering kundalini awakening opened the portal to deeper energetic and tantric realms, she became a certified facilitator of Tao Tantra Arts (Mantak Chia and Osho lineages) and a graduate of the International School of Temple Arts (ISTA). With a vision for evolving consciousness in Philadelphia, Elana founded the Tantra Collective—producing monthly offerings for embodied spiritual connection—and ONE LOVE HUB, the city's co-created community for conscious events. With decades of practice in movement, meditation, and energy healing, Elana's teaching bridges the physical and the spiritual. Do I need prior Tantra or plant medicine experience?
Not at all. The Tantric Halloween Party (Friday) is open to everyone—no Tantra background required. The Shamanic Medicine Journey (Saturday) is guided with care and also welcomes first-time participants as well as seasoned journeyers. Both events are held in safe, intentional containers.

What type of people participate?
All adults are welcome. Whether single or partnered, parent or child-free, of any background or orientation—you are invited to journey in a safe and supportive space.

Is there an age restriction?
Yes. To maintain a safe and mature ceremonial container, participants must be 21+ years or older.

What do I bring?

• A pillow, cushion, or backjack to sit on comfortably on the ground

• A water bottle and eye mask

• A healthy, vegan, gluten-free potluck dish to share (please include a note with ingredients)

• A journal and pen for reflection

• A blanket and layers for indoor and outdoor comfort

• Optional: A totem or meaningful object for the altar

How should I dress?

Tantric Halloween Party:

• Dress as your shadow archetype in whatever way feels authentic to your comfort and free expression

• Bring layers for indoor and outdoor comfort

• Be prepared to be barefoot in the house

Shamanic Medicine Journey:

• Comfortable, layered clothing (ritual whites or light tones are welcome)

• Be prepared to be barefoot indoors and outdoors to ground with the earth

Is the start time important?
Tantric Halloween Party: Arrive by 7:30pm to settle in; opening circle begins at 8pm. Early arrival is encouraged to enjoy the full experience, though the space will remain open throughout the evening.
Shamanic Medicine Journey: Please arrive promptly for the 1pm opening circle, as the ceremony begins with the group gathered in sacred space.

Will there be nudity or intimacy in this experience?
No, not explicitly. While Tantra embraces a wide spectrum of practices, both events are clothed and non-sexual journeys. That said, if your shadow archetype’s regalia reveals skin or bares more, this is a safe space for authentic expression. During the Shamanic Medicine Journey, the container is also safely held should shedding layers support your inward process.

Is alcohol permitted at these experiences?
No. Both events are alcohol-free spaces.

• Tantric Halloween Party: Clarity allows for deeper embodiment of your shadow archetype and fuller experience of the joy, playfulness, and healing of this invitation.

• Shamanic Medicine Journey: A recommended dieta will be shared with participants to follow—ideally beginning one week prior—to support the natural flow of energy and attunement with both the plant medicine and the divine essence within.

What is the location of this event?
The ceremony takes place at a private residence in Chestnut Hill, Philadelphia. The exact address will be shared via email after registration.

Is there parking available?
Yes. A designated street parking area will be shared by email upon registration. Kindly avoid parking in the driveway so it remains clear for entry and flow.

Where do I enter the space?
Please enter the home through the main front door.

Why do I need to provide my contact information?

Will tickets be available at the door?
No. Advance registration is required to receive the private location. Space is intentionally limited to preserve the intimacy of the experience. Events often sell out—we recommend registering early. If tickets sell out, you may join the waitlist.

What is the COVID protocol?
