Event description

Our Retreat on the Hudson will be a day of small group connection and hope spent in one of Maryland's most beautiful coastal locations. The day, which is open to all ages (over 18), genders, stages, & relationship types, will include:

  • Small interactive group activities around attendees’ divorce stories, mindfulness, and the common emotional experiences of divorce (e.g., how to embrace divorce joy, staying grounded during major change, and a book exchange).
  • Tactical and practical guidance from Wendy S. Meadows, Esq., a seasoned family law attorney who no longer litigates but is deeply committed to resolving disputes outside the courtroom. As a master mediator and collaborative law attorney, Wendy helps people navigate divorce with clarity, dignity, and a plan for the future—without the emotional and financial toll of litigation. She’ll also share insights on setting meaningful post-divorce goals and small, actionable steps to rebuild a life that feels aligned—drawing from her sparkle & GRIT framework for lasting change.
  • Tips on the power of platonic love and proven tips for how to build a supportive community for any and every stage of the divorce journey

Each attendee will leave with connected to a vibrant community of support (i.e., at least one meaningful IRL connection) and a resource guide for the road ahead. Please note, spaces are limited. The investment to attend is $98 per person which includes a light breakfast, lunch, and a gift of Sincerely, Divorced swag.

Registration is required via Humanitix to attend.
