Nestled into Orleigh Park overlooking the beautiful Brisbane River at West End, the South Brisbane Sailing Club is the perfect location to spend a quiet day gently guided to connect with your inner capacity for mindfulness, stillness and loving kindness. It is the perfect place simply to be, with nowhere to go and nothing to do.

The program begins at 10am and will conclude at 4pm. 

Whether you feel like a complete beginner, a dabbler or are regularly bringing mindfulness to life, this urban retreat is for you. 

You will experience the pleasure and benefits of a day of mostly silent, guided mindfulness practice and instruction. 

  • learn the fundamentals of mindfulness and the postures of meditation
  • practice sitting, walking and compassion meditations
  • experience mindful eating and techniques for mindfulness in daily life
  • ask questions and connect with like-minded others

Let go of worrying, overwhelm and overwork.

With Christmas only two weeks later, this daylong retreat is perfect timing, to do something for you before you're swamped by all that that needs to be done for everyone else. You will leave relaxed, energised and ready to bring your best self to the pressures and preparations of the festive season.
