Daylong Retreat May 2024

Price $20 – $30 AUD + BF Get tickets

Event description

This will be a day of silent practice in the style of Reflective Meditation (RM). This approach to dharma practice and meditation has an underpinning of kindness, curiosity and permission to experiment, which flows through to our daily life. Our emphasis on reflection, journalling, listening and understanding helps to make way for a new relationship to our inner and outer world.

The day will involve periods of silent meditation, followed by silent reflection. There will be two dharma talks and the opportunity to be in a small RM discussion group.

For anyone new to the Reflective Meditation approach Anna and Tina are offering a 1 hour online on Monday 6th May 2024. Attending this session is important as instruction on the approach will not be covered at the retreat. Details of the link to the session will be emailed to you. Anyone who would like a refresher is welcome to join the online session.

Dâna

The registration cost covers venue rental and associated costs only. It does not include a charge for the teachings, which are given freely in accordance with Buddhist tradition. As teachers are not paid, they rely on the generosity of students. Generosity, or dâna, is a foundation practice of the Buddha's path of liberation.
