Dayshift is back on Saturday 18th January for our first party of 2025

We are kicking off 2025 with a bang with one of our biggest and most genre diverse lineups to date. Spearheading this are some true legends of the game. Jeremy Sylvester, UKG and bass music extraordinaire, will be making his Dayshift debut. Jeremy will be gracing us with 20 years of experience in the industry, producing bass music of all varieties under a mind boggling number of different monikers over his extensive career.

Equally influential within the electronic music scene over the years, we are thrilled to have the one and only DJ Flight. Flight will no doubt be packing a huge variety of drum & bass and jungle music as her decades of experience has taken her through many evolutions of the bass music world.

Hot from her debut release on the world beloved Kaizen label, we see the return of long-time friend of the crew and one of this city’s favourite visitors, Madam X. And if that wasn’t enough, we will also see the debut of Erbium Records boss, and RinseFM resident Jay Carder, bringing her signature brand of UK Bass, techno, and breaks.

Last up we’ll have Boorloo’s golden boy, elbarto making his east coast debut, and of course rounding out the lineup will be a carefully curated selection of some of our favourite local heroes for our big sunny January session.

We have a few more very special international guests to be announced at a later date, some new and familiar faces, so hold tight for that.

This time around our third stage, The Green, will be hosted by the legendary Tuff Tone Sound System for all flavours of dub/roots/reggae beats to top off the soundtrack to our day.

Dayshift will house three outdoor stages at the spacious Sydney Portugal Community Club (not the Madeira club). Along with over 9 hours of music, there will be food trucks, retailers, and other market stalls, rounding out a full day of food, fun and tunes in the sun.

Expect some heavy bass weight across all stages, provided by MM Acoustics (Buzz Speaker Hire), Translate Sound, and Tuff Tone Sound System
