Event description
~VENUE CHANGE~
Dayshift is heading to Naarm for the first time to kick off Season 3!
Dayshift is on a road trip down south and we can’t wait to bring the sounds of DS to Victoria for the first time. We are very excited to show you all what we’ve been cooking over winter.
One of the true dons of the UK Funky scene, the iconic Roska joins us in Australia for the first time since 2011. A key figure in the dance music scene since the late 2000s, Roska has helped define the UK Funky sound with his huge influence and innovative production.
No stranger to the ec2a/Hardline family, Fonzo makes his Australian debut. The Bristol-based DJ and producer, has made his mark on the UK club scene with already iconic productions and dynamic sets, earning support from Rinse FM and beyond.
And if that wasn’t enough “Bristol-based DJ and producer” for you, Yemz also makes her Australian debut. Known for her high-energy performances and genre-blending, she incorporates elements of UK Funky, UK Garage, and Afrobeat into her well-considered and intentional sets.
Brooklyn-based DJ and producer Sobolik crafts vibrant, genre-blurring club music that fuses elements of UK bass, techno, and breaks into what is now becoming a quintessential sound of NYC. Co-heading All Centre, they’ve gained recognition for their innovative productions on labels like 3024, CloudCore, and Woozy.
Completing our selection of international guests we have an upcoming favourite and staple UKG and UK Bass producer, Holloway. Topping off all of this will be a rare b2b from Dayshift’s very own Mincy and Killjoy. The lineup of course is rounded out by a carefully selected group of our favourite local DJs - Brown Suga Princess, Coldpast, Della, Storm Norm and Rita Bass.
We can’t wait to head down south for the first time!
