Disco Dandiya
Description
🪔 Disco Dandiya: Diwali Social 🪔
Sticks up, Melbourne! This Diwali, Garba Haus is turning the studio into a glow-stick dandiya party, and you’re invited.
This isn’t just a class. It’s 2 hours of dancing, chai, games and pure festive energy, where strangers become dance partners and everyone leaves smiling (and a little sweaty).
✨ What’s in store
Learn the 10-step: we’ll teach you the classic dandiya step from scratch. You’ll practise in pairs and rotate partners, so you’ll meet everyone in the room.
Dandiya choreo: a short, fun routine you’ll want to film for the ‘gram.
Chai and Garba games: take a break with a cup of chai, then get competitive with some Garba games.
🪩 DISCO DANDIYA: the lights go down and the music doesn’t stop. Non-stop dandiya mixes, and everyone dances together.
The grand finale: Sanedo, Macarena and Ranjhanyu. Need we say more?
