DC's Capital Seminar

This is DC's Representative Oye Owolewa and I'm pleased to announce my first Capital Seminar, where we'll be partnering with the local government and private sector to host 2024's first DC Capital Seminar at the R.I.S.E. Demonstration Center (2730 Martin Luther King jr Ave SE) on Wednesday, March 20th at 6 pm. Here, Synbongile Cook from DMPED, Sade Dennis from US Green Building and Prudential Financial Services will be leading a seminar for local business owners focused on learning where to find and best tips to prepare for grants. Attendees will also find out some ways to utilize the tax system to benefit their business. This mixer aims to increase the diversity of contract awardees and provide folks with the information needed to transform our communities. Knowledge is Power. Power is Influence. March 20th's free seminar will be the first of this year's ongoing 'DC Capital Seminar' series where business owners from underrepresented groups learn some the best ways to receive capital.
