DDCA Symposium 2024

Dear DDCA Members, we are delighted to announce DDCA’s upcoming annual Symposium which will focus on the theme:

Sustaining, Maintaining & Nourishing Creativity

DATE: Friday 29th November 2024 | 10am - 6pm AEDT

LOCATION: Federation University, Ballarat, VIC

This free, fully catered event will take place on and around Federation University’s SMB campus in leafy Ballarat, regional Victoria.

This year’s theme speaks to maintaining and nourishing the energy of creativity, and asks: How do we sustain this energy to keep on creating over time and within the academic environment?

The one-day program will be centred around creative sharing, with live music performances, demonstrations, screenings and many fruitful conversations. We will share our collective strategies for what supports our creative work and we ask you to come armed with your own ideas and solutions.

EMERGING LEADERS WELCOME! 

We also invite our Member Institutions to support their emerging creative arts leaders to attend this year’s symposium. The DDCA began this initiative at our 2023 Symposium in Adelaide, and it proved to be a hugely successful opportunity for community building and resources sharing.

We will be contacting those who register closer to the date with a detailed event program, as well as transport and accommodation recommendations.

We look forward to welcoming you to Ballarat and sharing a day of inspiration and celebration with you.
