Understanding escalation and responding with respect, safety and emotional regulation - 18 November 2025

This workshop focuses on practical, evidence-informed techniques that support educators to understand escalation and manage challenging behaviours by building connection, emotional safety and co-regulation.

Through this workshop you will:

• Identify early signs of escalation and potential triggers
• Understand the impact of trauma, stress and neurodiversity on behaviour
• Practice respectful and relational de-escalation techniques that maintain the safety of everyone, and plan for proactive supports.
