Dead Mans Swamp Walk June 2022

Nature Walks for Women
Deadman's Swamp Forest Reserve, Wrattonbully
The walk is roughly a 30km drive south of Naracoorte. We will meet on the corner of Wrattonbully Road and the Riddoch Highway.
This walk will follow vehicle tracks through native vegetation, pine plantation and around a swamp. The track isn't difficult however the sand is soft in sections making it slower going.
Herbal tea and delicious homemade whole-food treats will be provided on the walk.
There are no toilets or shelter in this location.
Due to the variability of the weather, the following items will be required:
- small backpack
- 1 - 2 litres of water
- sun protection
- rain coat, layers
- extra snacks
- comfortable walking shoes
Please ensure you are clothed appropriately as no refunds are available 3 days prior to the walk, if you arrive underprepared you may be asked to not accompany the walk for safety reasons. You will receive an email prior to the walk and please contact Natasha 0408 086 792 if you have any questions.
If there is extreme weather forecast the walk will be cancelled and fully refunded.
Minimum of 4 walkers for walk to go ahead, full refund if walk is cancelled due to minimum numbers not being reached.
Minimum age required is 13 years old as long as they are accompanied by an adult.
