Dead Wi†ch + Classic at Franks Wild Years

Dead Wi†ch and Classic play an afternoon show at Franks Wild Years to celebrate the release of Dead Wi†ch’s new single ‘15 Dennies’.

Made up of five friends, including Zoe Catterall (The Buoys), and Jaimee Taylor-Nielsen (Hedy Lamarr), Dead Wi†ch formed in 2020, and have been casting their unique spell of sparkling psychedelia and 60s garage revival on Sydney stages, ever since. Debut single ‘15 Dennies' is a straight up and down slice of rock & roll, melding a heady brew of fuzzy guitar and thumping drums.

Dead Wi†ch will be joined by local band Classic, who’s songs are sincere, luminescent and lyrically driven, with themes that explore motherhood, grief, racism and friendship. Framed by a sonic backdrop that emanates influences from 80’s post punk, dream pop and indie rock, Classic harks to a blazing new age of beautiful song writing and captivating music
